People manage to live in some pretty crazy places. Human Planet examines the various different environments in which people live, with some incredible footage of the lengths people go to to make an area habitable.

Highlights include the oceans (sea gypsies who get ‘land sick’ when they’re on land, shark-whisperers), the jungle (hunters with blowpipes, honey collectors 30 metres up in the canopy) and rivers (commuting across the Mekong River on a metal wire, a 100km trek to reach school in the Himalayas).
