Want to fully understand the history of the Universe, from its origins to the present day? It’s a pretty tough challenge… but it’s the challenge that The Big History Project has taken on.

I initially came across the Big History Project through David Christian’s TED talk. He tries to fit the entire history of the Universe into 18 minutes which, despite being a ridiculous challenge, actually goes quite well.

Once you’re signed up (for free) to the website you can browse through an entire interactive course with tons of videos, pictures and other resources. It’s well worth checking out.
